The synthetic fibres of usual swimsuits are produced from a by-product of petroleum, a non-renewable and pollutant resource. It has CONSIDERABLE environmental impact, and requires a vast amount of energy to produce.
For Miska, no decision was taken lightly. We have scrupulously chosen our fabrics and are proud to offer the first Eco-friendly swimsuits for young girls, both in the fabric itself, as well as the manufacturing process.
Made in Italy using patented technology, our fabric is produced from a bio-based polyamide fibre, 100% plant based, derived from castor oil.
The choice of a bio-sourced fibre is the choice for a natural and renewable resource, without any harmful environmental impact on the food chain, animals or humans.
To this we add an ecologically innovative production process which combines energy saving and water consumption limitation.
